CMC, LLC's Wheel is an excellent resource for:

Content Creators to hiring managers to content sponsors and promoters.

Informed, accurate, and honest discussions initiated with compassionate candor provide opportunities to reevaluate content and address concerns before the content and media is released for public consumption.

While CMC, LLC assesses content using a range of indicators, we have found that unintended offense occurs because of a lack of attention given to content creation in 6 primary areas. These areas are what we term as Spheres of Conscious-Concern©.

This module will provide more details about our 6 Spheres framework and why these areas are important to consider when creating your content.

  1. You will use your mouse to click on the center of the wheel-the 6 spheres of conscious concern spinner to start the wheel spinning.
  2. Then, you will click again on the spinner to stop it spinning.
  3. Once you have stopped the spinner, you will see that each specific area of concern reflected on the spinner has a pointer-hand connected to it.
  4. Read the question/indicator that each pointer-hand is pointing to
  5. If you want to magnify any part of the wheel, find the magnifying icon on the bottom left of the document to enlarge any area of the document that you would like.
  6. Use the escape key to return to unmagnified mode.
  7. Take some time to ponder the question as is in the context of your content, but also to mull the questions/indicators over in different ways from different perspectives. For example, reframe the question in a way that resonates with your particular messaging goals, and answer the question from the perspective of your audience. Will your audience see that you and your content demonstrate the particular awareness that is referenced in the area of concern.
  8. Think about if the question also applies to different areas of conscious concern that the pointer-hand may have not yet pointed to.
  9. There are 17 questions that the user can answer for each area of conscious concern for a total of 102 questions to ask about your content or ask of your content creator.
  10. The content assessment wheel is a great place to start to become aware of strengths that your content has and should have, and potentially reveal weaknesses that content or the content creator may have in constructing the content. Interacting with this wheel may provide awarenesses that are an opportunity for you to make needed corrections and seek appropriate education before releasing your content for public consumption.

Enjoy and have fun with it!

Wishing you happy conscious content creation!
